• All appointments (1:1 Strength Coaching, Massage Therapy, Sauna, and Acupuncture) have a firm 24 hour cancellation policy, so please cancel via MindBody in advance (24+ hours) to keep the session on your account.

  • There is a 15 minute no show policy for all appointments, so if you are running late please let us know or it is possible that we will no longer be able to accommodate your appointment.

  • If you are feeling symptoms of illness, please stay home to protect your community and us (we are a contact point for many immunocompromised people and value our health too!). We will ask you to return home if you are exhibiting symptoms.

  • Please arrive at your scheduled time and not before. We operate on a very tight schedule and often need those extra 5 minutes to finish clean up or grab a drink of water! You are welcome to browse Bow Market or hang out at the tables in front of the studio.

  • Appointments begin and end at their scheduled time, so if you are late your session will still end at the original time unless another agreement is made with your practitioner.

  • Sessions and packages are non-transferrable. We believe in cultivating consistency and routine, so your sessions should be just for you! If you’d like help booking a session for someone else, just let us know :)

  • Gift Cards expire one year from the date they are purchased but can be renewed upon request

  • We appreciate your interest! Due to the high volume of appointments in our small space, we operate on an appointment only basis.

    For gift card pickup we ask you to order in advance and we will reach out to schedule a pickup time.

    To schedule an appointment (no walk ins!), please book via our Restoration page or submit an inquiry for a Strength offering.

  • We book most appointments 24+ hours in advance to give ourselves/our practitioners room to plan the flow of the day. Sauna sessions can be booked 12 hours in advance.

    Availability shown in the calendar when booking is accurate and we ask that you please book through our website.

    We also recommend booking as far ahead as you can for offerings with limited availability such as Massage Therapy (3-4 weeks ahead) or weekend Sauna visits (1-2 weeks ahead).

  • Please check out our Sauna info page for details :) The link to this page is also in your booking confirmation and reminder e-mails as well as on the Restoration page if you need to find it again!

  • We think that’s a great idea! Please check the respective calendars when booking and set your sessions up accordingly.

    You may book in whatever order you like, but since some people ask, our vote is for sauna first followed by massage.

  • Wonderful! You can book as you normally would via the Restoration page.

    Not sure what pass(es) or credits you have available? Please visit your MindBody Account page!

    If you are booking via the MindBody app, there are certain credits that don’t work, or it may say “book now pay later” at confirmation when it is actually pulling a pass from your account. Visiting via a browser, especially Google Chrome is recommended by MindBody.

  • There are a few different scenarios that can affect gift card redemption.

    If you have a gift card from our old booking system (code contains Letters AND Numbers), please contact us with the code and value and we will transfer it to your MindBody account here.

    If you have a MindBody gift card (code is numbers only), please redeem it through our MindBody store. The gift card field only appears at checkout when purchasing a pass from the online store, and is not available if you try to schedule and purchase the pass in the same transaction. This is a MindBody thing that we unfortunately are not able to adjust!

    If you are still having trouble, please contact us with your gift card code and we can transfer the balance to your account and/or book the session for you.

    In both scenarios, it saves some steps if you have a MindBody account linked to our studio. Please click here to do so if you haven’t registered/booked with us already.

  • Due to the size of the space we are unable to offer simultaneous massages.

    You might consider booking a massage and sauna sessions for each of you instead - just be sure to book ahead so you can get the time slots you want!

  • We’re so glad you want to get into our offerings! We keep all inquiries on file and will reach out if and when we have an opening that fits your schedule and needs.

We do our best to get back to most messages immediately, but please keep in mind that we are a teeny team (2 people!) who own, coach full time, clean, do administrative/management work, bookkeeping/accounting, develop and plan new offerings, and manage employees and contractors, and try to be efficient secretaries (among many other things that come up day to day!).

    We are grateful for your patience and understanding of the fact that we are doing our absolute best to bring you a thoughtful and unique place to take care of your body and mind.

    As it pertains to the 24 hour cancellation policy, keep in mind that all communications are time stamped. When possible, it’s best for you to cancel/reschedule through MindBody (the link to do so is at the bottom of all system confirmation e-mails).

    If it has been more than a week, feel free to send a nudge in case your message slipped through the cracks! Our apologies if this is the case!

  • You are welcome to book Sauna and Massage Therapy sessions without a Membership.

    For Strength appointments, we require placement into the appropriate offering(s) and a Membership - however there is no contract and you may terminate your Membership at any time for any reason.

  • We know life happens! And we also need to maintain our business to keep the doors open and practitioners able to deliver quality service, therefore the policy is firm.

    The alternative would be to raise rates across the board by 15-20% to make up for late cancellations and no shows. Instead, we choose to keep rates lower as well as incentivizing people to show up whenever possible.

    We appreciate your respecting this system and treating these appointments as you would a visit to any of the other professionals who maintain a firm 24 hour cancellation/no show policy.

  • We typically do not offer short term Membership pauses. This allows us to keep the small close knit classes with individualized attention. If you have special circumstances please let us know and we can arrange something, but if at all possible we ask you to consider treating your Membership as a fixed part of your budget.

    Sauna and Massage Therapy sessions roll over indefinitely if not used, so you won’t lose the sessions! If you accrue too many to use, then we can place a pause or cancellation on your Membership - please let us know if you find yourself in this circumstance.

  • (Okay, no one has actually asked this, but here’s the answer just in case you were wondering!)

    We have worked in this industry for a long time, in many different work places and environments. The irony of providing “wellness” is that those who work in the field are typically overworked, exhausted, and at the beck and call of other peoples’ needs.

    We believe that in order to provide you with the best experience we can, we need to be in a place both energetically and physically that allows us to do so. Since this business is appointment based, when people cancel (and they frequently do at the last second - which is fine, life happens), that leaves the practitioner scrambling to make up their paycheck (or the business struggling to pay overhead).

    Through these structures and policies, we are creating steadiness - for our practitioners and for our visitors. Being financially incentivized to show up instead of saving money for not showing up also keeps people in steady practice. We’ve seen proof of that in the people who have built amazing structures and habits during their time here.

    We’ve stepped outside of the box of the traditional fitness/wellness/spa structure - and it benefits us all in the end. All of our decisions are based on mutual benefit, and providing fair and equitable jobs for anyone on our team. When you come here, you are buying time and energy - the most valuable and non-renewable commodity.
